Perhaps we haven’t seen the last of the Weeping Woman… But we felt like it was too heavy-handed, like just trying to lay in all these connections to. Of course, he’s referring to Ed and Lorraine Warren, who keep haunted relics locked up safely in their home – that is, until the events of this year’s Annabelle Comes Home, when all the entities will be unleashed.Ĭhaves added, “ The scene was really cool and I think everybody really liked it. And Raymond says that he knows someone who can keep it safe and that they’re on the East Coast and they handle this sort of thing.”
THE CURSE OF LA LLORONA RELATED TO CONJURING MOVIE
“ There is actually a scene that was going to be at the end of the movie where at the very end of the film we shot Linda’s character, who hands over the necklace to Raymond, you know, for safekeeping. “ There was a lot of discussion about it,” Chaves told GameSpot. The doll itself even makes a cameo appearance in the new movie as part of a flashback story being told by Father Perez.Īnd yet, oddly enough, La Llorona was never actually marketed as being part of the Conjuring Universe, with that connection being kept secret as something of a surprise for viewers. It may not be based on the case files of Ed and Lorraine Warren but The Curse of La Llorona is no doubt part of the extended Conjuring Universe, with Tony Amendola reprising the role of Father Perez, a character he played in Annabelle.
